Serendipity’s Embrace (also known as “Is It a Coincidence?”) is an upcoming South Korean TV drama set to premiere on July 22, 2024. The show will air on tvN every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 PM. Directed by Song Hyun-Wook and written by Nam Ji-Eun, Kim In-Ho, and Park Geu-Ro, the series is based on the webcomic “Wooyeonilgga?” by Nam Ji-Eun and Kim In-Ho. The drama consists of 8 episodes.

Plot Summary
Lee Hong-Ju (played by Kim So-Hyun) is an animation production PD who experienced her first love and a tough breakup in high school. This heartbreak left her skeptical about love. Ten years later, she encounters Kang Hu-Young (played by Chae Jong-Hyeop), who saw her difficult past.
Kang Hu-Young is a smart and handsome financial planner who returns to South Korea after a decade. By chance, he meets his first love, Lee Hong-Ju, again, stirring strong emotions within him.
Meanwhile, Bang Joon-Ho (played by Yun Ji-On) is a popular novelist with a free spirit, and Lee Hong-Ju is one of his biggest fans. Kim Hye-Ji (played by Kim Da-Som) is Lee Hong-Ju’s best friend and works as an English teacher.
