Kim Sun-Ho and Go Youn-Jung have been cast as the leads in the upcoming Netflix drama series “Can This Love Be Translated?” (working title). Joining them are Sota Fukushi, Lee E-Dam, and Choi Woo-Sung. The romantic-comedy screenplay is written by the acclaimed Hong sisters, Hong Jung-Eun and Hong Mi-Ran, known for hits like “My Girlfriend is Gumiho” and “The Master’s Sun.” This series also marks popular Japanese actor Sota Fukushi’s debut in a South Korean drama.
“Can This Love Be Translated?” is set to stream on Netflix sometime in 2025.
The story follows Joo Ho-Jin (played by Kim Sun-Ho), a skilled interpreter fluent in English, Japanese, and Italian. He starts working for Cha Moo-Hee (played by Go Youn-Jung), a confident and charming star. The series explores their evolving relationship as they navigate the challenges of communication and love.
